- Peter was recently invited to his children's school to talk about and demonstrate his work. His son Sam calmed his nerves by telling him that the last dad who visited was sweating so much that he had to keep mopping his face with a handkerchief. Thankfully Peter's visit went well! The children most enjoyed playing with "Perfect 10", the 2005 Royal Watch Redemption Piece with ten creatures that circle the perimeter, allowing for 100 different combinations. That was where the idea for another combination box came from. While “Sweet Sixteen” isn’t as large as its predecessor and has four instead of ten animals, it can still produce 64 different animal combinations from the elephant, turtle, snake and kangaroo. Have fun! Open the lid to find a simple inscription in commemoration of the Calvesbert family’s wonderful old Border Collie, Murphy, whom they lost on the 3rd of February (3.2.10).

- NOTE: Because Harmony Kingdom is handmade, individual box figurines may exhibit slight variations. While the artisans do their best to ensure that Harmony Kingdom boxes look seamless, many pieces do look like two-piece figurines.
- Harmony Kingdom’s artists often conceal a small motif on the box figurines they carve as a sort of “signature.” This identifies the piece as being their work and adds to the Secrets of the Kingdom. David Lawrence uses an acorn on most of his box figurines, and Peter Calvesbert uses a mouse. Many collectors enjoy searching for these small, hidden symbols of the artists.
