About Wee Forest Folk
Annette Peterson crafted her very first Wee Forest Folk from bread dough years ago and since then her children have learned the ways of "mice" and are very involved in the creating of their own Wee Forest Folk. Nowadays, they use much more sophisticated methods, of course, to create their Wee Forest Folk pieces, and only select the most talented artist who have amazing hand skills. Each Wee Forest Folk piece is cast from the original sculpture and then meticulously hand painted and assembled at the quaint little "mouse" factory in Carlisle, MA. Cherry Lane Keepsakes is pleased to carry the wonderful, whimsical line of Wee Forest Folk, a small family business who enjoy so much what they do.
